Compare appliance use before and after a change. Estimate electricity saved and, with your own tariff, the possible difference in energy costs.
Start with your appliance labels or a measured average. Examples are editable assumptions, not local averages or promised savings. Your figures stay on this page until you leave it.
Currency is a label; no exchange rates are applied. Enter currency units, not fils or cents. Annual totals use your operating days; the monthly comparison uses 30 operating days.
Daily kWh = quantity × electrical watts × hours/day × duty/100 ÷ 1,000. Savings = current energy − proposed energy. Cost difference = energy saved × the tariff you enter.
This compares only the appliances listed. It excludes fixed fees, tariff tiers, taxes and seasonal weather. Use comparable service and comfort in both scenarios. For seasonal appliances, adjust annual operating days. A lower wattage alone does not prove equivalent performance.
