Assess the reference with a powered pump and wheel by measuring both inputs and outputs; do not present recirculation as a new energy source.

Original explanatory schematic, not to scale or a certified fabrication drawing. Follow guide measurements and the complete source.

Site and operating requirements

  • Survey net head, usable seasonal flow, flood level, debris and legal access. Select a design for that measured resource.
  • Obtain complete shaft, bearing, mounting, guard and electrical drawings. A photograph is not a tolerance or load specification.

Tools and measuring equipment

  • Tape/level and safe survey tools, timer and measured collection vessel for suitable small flows, tachometer and rated load/meter set; workshop tools follow the full drawings.

Output and operating conditions

An energy record showing pump electricity, wheel/generator output and losses. A closed loop requires external energy.

The photograph gives no rated frame, pipe, rotor or generator dimensions. This is a measurement route, not an outdoor fabrication plan.

Parts, quantities and dimensions

PartQuantitySpecification / dimensions
Existing documented apparatus1Only use guarded, anchored equipment with approved water/electrical separation; do not recreate the exposed leads in the reference.
Compatible energy meters2Input energy meter suitable for the pump and output meter/load suitable for the generator, configured by a competent person.
Time and water records1 setCommon measurement interval, reservoir-level marks and head/flow survey data.

Preparation and component checks

  • Read the complete linked method, mark its edition, and create a measured component list and a labelled sketch before starting. Keep experimental changes separate from the published procedure.
  • Prepare the work area and inspect every component. Run the lowest-risk dry or unpowered check before water, heat, moving parts or crop material are introduced.

Procedure

  1. 1

Identify every energy input, including mains, batteries and changes in reservoir height.

  2. 2

Have a competent person verify guarding, water protection, earthing and meter connections.

  3. 3

Measure pump input Wh and generator output Wh over the same interval and record start/end reservoir levels.

  4. 4

Compare useful output with all inputs and stored-energy changes. Stop for leaks, vibration or abnormal heating.

Safety and inspection

Outdoor pumps, rotating machinery and wet electrical systems require professional design. No free-energy or self-powering claim is supported.

Verify the result

Efficiency = useful output energy / supplied energy. Account for initially stored water energy before interpreting a short demonstration.

Measurement log

  • Drawing revision, measured dimensions, resource inputs, speed/flow, loaded output, trial duration and every observed fault. Mark unknown values as unmeasured.

Maintenance and repeat checks

  • Use the apparatus manufacturer’s service schedule. Isolate all electricity before any water-side maintenance.
  • Do not alter pump or generator ratings to chase a positive balance; check measurement setup if results imply energy creation.

Troubleshooting

No output, abnormal heat, noise, vibration or leaks
Stop and isolate first. Check the documented input, load compatibility, alignment and connections; keep guards fitted and refer specialist systems to their installer.
